Doily "Gitta". My first doily in netting (filet lace)! I'm very proud of it, because I took three tries at learning the technique before I got something looking like a doily. I'm aware it is still quite imperfect, and that I still need lots of practice, but you can get an idea of what netting in the round is looking like. Pattern From: Erikas Handarbeiten, issue 81, Rundfilet, pattern no. 5. Published about 1954. |

My Masterpiece in crochet. Doily worked about 1980. The pattern contains lots of difficult stitch combinations imitating cluny leafs. One of the few pieces I crocheted before I had my own appartment. Made from Coats crochet cotton no. 50. Size 23 by 35 cm. Pattern from: Burda Alles aus Garn: Häkelmodelle/Folge 2. 9. Printing 1980. Pattern Nr. 21. |
